Step Into Prep — OT Prep Readiness Group
A small group for children aged approximately 4–5 preparing to start Prep in 2027, led by Molly Baresic, Occupational Therapist, at Involve Health Hub in Aspley.
Starting Prep brings new routines, new experiences and everyday skills to practise. Across five weekly sessions, children will explore practical activities in a small, supportive group.
The program focuses on:
Everyday independence: managing shoes, clothing fasteners, lunchboxes and drink bottles.
Fine motor skills: drawing, cutting and pre-writing activities.
Thinking and problem-solving: matching, sorting and sequencing.
Attention and learning skills: listening, sustaining attention and working through guided tasks.
Social and emotional skills: waiting, taking turns, playing with others and managing frustration.

When: Mondays, 2–30 November 2026
Time: 11:30 am–12:30 pm
Session dates: 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 November
Location: Involve Health Hub, Suite 22, 1344 Gympie Road, Aspley
Facilitator: Molly Baresic, Occupational Therapist
Group size: 3–4 children. A minimum of three participants is required for the group to proceed.
Fees and funding
$96.99 per participant, per session — $484.95 for the full five-week program.
Families commit to all five sessions. Private payment and NDIS self-managed or plan-managed funding accepted.
